LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Omaha Police say they’ve solved a 46-year-old double homicide case.

Officers responded to a house near 42nd and Maple streets on a report of an abduction and burglary.
They found 26-year-old Deroshia Matthews and 7-year-old Kamal Matthews dead inside.
The Omaha Police Department said DNA testing led to Husain’s arrest.
“Murders are never forgotten, and justice has no expiration date,” Police Chief Todd Schmaderer said in a press release. “The depraved nature of this double homicide — one victim being a child — was bound to receive our utmost attention. Our commitment to these victims and their family never wavered.”
Husain used to be known as Louis Walker.
