York girls basketball wins 20th game of season in first-ever game with Lincoln Standing Bear

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The York Dukes beat the Lincoln Standing Bear Grizzlies 44-26 on Tuesday night in girls basketball.

It was the first time ever that the two teams have played.

The game was back-and-forth in the first half, leading to a 24-16 Dukes lead at the break.

In the second half, York outscored Standing Bear 20-10 to take home its 20th win of the season.

Chloe Koch and Lainey Portwine led the way for the Dukes on offense, combining for 23 points.
