WATCH: Pickup goes up in flames in north Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A pickup truck erupted in flames Monday evening at a trailer park in north Lincoln.

The fire was reported shortly after 5:30 p.m. at 48th and Orchard streets.

A Channel 8 viewer sent in a video showing flames engulfing a pickup parked between two trailers.

Black smoke was rising in the air.

When a Channel 8 reporter arrived, the fire was already out.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue said the two trailers sustained minor heat damage.

LFR said the fire was accidental.

Investigators do not yet have a damage estimate.
