Great American Ribfest to be featured at 2025 Lancaster County Super Fair

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Barbecue enthusiasts will convene in August at the Great American Ribfest later this year.

Officials announced Tuesday that this year’s outdoor barbecue festival will be held at the Lancaster County Super Fair from Aug. 6 to 9.

The event will feature live music, cold beer, cooking demonstrations and vendors offering sauces, rubs and more, according to a press release.

“People have been asking for a barbecue festival to return to Lincoln for years, so we are thrilled to host the Great American Ribfest alongside the Super Fair,” said Ron Bohaty, managing director, in the release. “We can’t wait to welcome everyone for great barbecue, great beer, and great family fun!”

The event is free with the purchase of a $15 parking pass, which also includes access to the Super Fair.  VIP packages are also available for the event.
