Vehicle hits fence after crash in east Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A vehicle hit a fence after a crash Wednesday morning in east Lincoln, police say.

Around 9:45 a.m., a pickup truck collided with an SUV near 56th and A streets, according to LPD.

The collision caused the SUV to drive into a fence.

One person had a “large head wound with serious bleeding” and was taken to a hospital, police said.

The crash caused officers to close the road in the area.  It has since been reopened.
