Buffalo County deputies respond to several rollovers due to ‘extremely soft’ dirt roads

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office is warning semi drivers after a series of recent rollovers on county roads.

In a post on Facebook, the sheriff’s office said the “extreme change in temperatures” is causing gravel and dirt roads to be “extremely soft.”

Deputies have responded to “multiple” rollover crashes involving semis over the last few days, according to the sheriff’s office.

The drivers have not been seriously injured in those crashes, the sheriff’s office said.

Officials are asking drivers to use extra caution, drive slow and avoid driving on the edge line of the road.
