Nebraska among states finalizing $39.1 million drugmaker settlement. Will you get a slice?

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska is joining a nationwide effort to finalize a settlement with a drug manufacturer — and the state wants you to get your cut.
Fifty states and territories are seeking preliminary approval of a $39.1 million settlement against Apotex for what they call a conspiracy to inflate prices and limit competition.
The multistate coalition announced the settlement with Apotex last fall, but it was waiting for signatures from all the states and territories.
The signatures have now been obtained, and the coalition has filed the settlement in the U.S. District Court in Connecticut.
Attorney General Mike Hilgers encourages Nebraskans to see if they qualify for compensation.
