Almost 1 mile of Lincoln street will be closed Sunday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — An almost mile-long stretch of a Lincoln road will be closed Sunday, the city says.
On Thursday, the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department announced that 17th Street will shut down from Van Dorn to Sumner streets.
It will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for utility work by the Lincoln Electric System.
Drivers are recommended to take Van Dorn to 10th Street, then to A Street as a detour.
