Severe weather potential Sunday into Monday

There is a TORNADO WATCH in place for much of SW and south central Nebraska through 1:00AM Monday.

The area highlighted in yellow below has the highest risk for tornadoes this evening. There’s a chance for them in the green and brown shaded areas. It’s a small chance, but there’s still a chance.

Large hail is a possibility in the shaded areas below. Especially in the red shaded area where 2″+ hail is possible. That’s bigger than golf balls.

Damaging wind is also likely with storms that do form.
