Lincoln pools closed again due to weather

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Cold weather is leading to another day of pool closures in Lincoln, the city announced Wednesday.
The opening of the city’s nine pools, initially scheduled for Monday, has been postponed to Thursday, pending weather conditions.

City policy requires a high temperature of at least 70 degrees for pools to open.

City policy requires a high temperature of at least 70 degrees for pools to open, according to officials.
Once the weather warms up, the pools will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. every day of the week.

Family Swim Nights are scheduled to begin on June 2. The fee is $15 per family of two adults and four children from 6 to 8 p.m. at the following pools:
- Monday: Belmont
- Tuesday: Eden
- Wednesday: Irvingdale and Highlands
- Thursday: Ballard
- Friday: Arnold Heights and Woods
