Strong storms west, quiet to the east

As we head into Friday, the storm chance remains to the west.

Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential on Friday.

With storms remaining to the west, Friday will be sunny and warm in Lincoln. Storm chances do increase for eastern Nebraska Saturday and Sunday.

Highs on Friday will be a little above average. Lots of upper 80s with a few low 90s.

The dew point will be a little high, too, so the humidity will be out there!

Showers and storms are possible through the weekend and into the first part of next week. Temperatures will be at or above average.
