LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man with a long history of indecent exposure in Lincoln was found guilty Tuesday in two more cases.

Michael Dixon, 27, pleaded guilty to one count of indecent exposure and disturbing the peace in each case.

The first incident happened on July 24, but court documents don’t detail what happened.

Then on Sept. 26, Dixon fondled himself in broad daylight at Pentzer Park near 17th and Holdrege, police said.

He reached down into his pants and touched his genitals in front of a woman and her children, according to an arrest affidavit

Another witness said she saw him expose his genitals.

Dixon has at least three prior convictions for similar behavior.

In 2021, he exposed himself at Gateway Mall and kicked one of the responding officers in the arm.

And in February 2024, he masturbated in the triage area of Bryan West Medical Center, court documents say.

In all cases, Dixon was charged with misdemeanors, so his sentences were short. Two times, he was sentenced to time served.

His record includes a variety of other crimes.

One of the most notable was in February 2024, when he stole a car and bit a police officer on the leg in north Lincoln.

His charges were reduced to misdemeanors under a plea deal, and he was sentenced to 180 days in jail.

But the judge gave the jail discretion to give Dixon credit for time served, and court records say he was let out the same day he was sentenced.

Dixon’s sentencing in Lancaster County Court for the two latest offenses is set for July 25.
