Now boarding: Lincoln Airport adds fifth daily flight to Denver

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Airport has announced the addition of another flight through United Airlines.
On Thursday, the airport posted on Facebook saying planes will now fly to Denver five times daily.
Earlier this month, airport spokeswoman Rachel Barth said the airport is working to address the public’s concerns regarding flight demand.
“By the end of the year, we will have 10 flights, five Chicago and five Denver,” Barth said at a townhall.

LNK also said it wants the planes that do fly out of Lincoln to hold more people.
“We understand your desire, our collective desire to see United bring larger aircrafts here,” operations director Bob McNally said at the townhall. “That is something being worked on all the time and would be very popular. We know that. But United only has so may aircrafts, so you have to keep pressing, which is what’s happening.”
