Man gets pinned between two train cars in Lexington, suffers severe injuries

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was taken to a hospital Wednesday after getting stuck between two train cars in west-central Nebraska.
Police were sent to Industrial Road in Lexington about 12:30 p.m.
They discovered that a man had been pinned between a moving train car and a stationary one, according to the Lexington Police Department.
He had severe injuries to one of his arms, so officers used a tourniquet to stop the bleeding and started lifesaving measures.
When paramedics arrived, they took the victim to Lexington Regional Hospital.
He was later flown to a hospital in Kearney.
Police said there was no derailment.
The Union Pacific Railroad is part of the investigation.
