Man arrested after firing gun into neighbor’s apartment in northeast Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man was arrested Monday after police say he fired a bullet into his floor and into the apartment below him.
Just before 8 a.m., officers with the Lincoln Police Department were sent to the area of 52nd and Ervin streets, three blocks north of Fremont Street.
The caller suspected his upstairs neighbor had shot a firearm through their floor and into his apartment.
One of the upstairs residents refused to exit, so authorities got a search warrant for the apartment.
According to police, the LPD SWAT team assisted in serving the warrant, and 22-year-old Julian Zozaya was arrested.
During the search of the apartment, investigators found a .223-caliber pistol.
Zozaya was booked in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of unlawful discharge of a firearm.
