More storm chances Wednesday and Thursday
There is a chance for some strong to severe storms Wednesday, so there is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” on Wednesday.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential on Wednesday.
It’s going to be warm on Wednesday, too. Afternoon highs will be close to 90 for just about everybody.
The dew point will be near 70 as well, so the heat index will be a few degrees higher than the actual temperature.
Then on Thursday, we get another chance for severe weather. This time, a level 2 “Slight Risk” is in place for much of the state. Hail, damaging wind, and tornadoes will be possible.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential on Thursday.
There’s another storm chance on Friday, but with the storm potential on Wednesday and Thursday, how Friday plays out will very much depend on what happens the days before. It will be quite a bit cooler on Friday, though!
