Two Lincoln streets to close next week

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two roads will be shut down in Lincoln next, city officials say.

Both closures start Monday, according to the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department.

A Street will close from 40th to 52nd streets for pavement repair.

The project is expected to last until July 17.

People will still be able to get to homes and businesses in the area, LTU said.

StarTran Route 54 will also be detoured during the work.

Meanwhile, 14th Street will be shut down between Pioneers Boulevard and Nebraska Parkway for railroad track repairs.

StarTran Route 13 will be detoured.

The work is expected to be done by July 18.
