Large tree falls in north Lincoln neighborhood

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A large tree fell early Thursday morning in a neighborhood in northeast Lincoln.

Lincoln Fire & Rescue was initially called to the home near North 66th Street and Logan Avenue on a gas leak.

A Channel 8 reporter at the scene shared a video on the NOW Local News App of a tree that fell between two homes.

The reporter also spotted several branches that were on top of one of the homes.

A Lincoln Fire & Rescue engine was at the scene, along with an inspector from the city’s building and safety department.

The extent of the damage is unknown.
