LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Comedian Larry the Cable Guy was named the grand marshal for Nebraska’s Big Rodeo on Tuesday.

In a post on Facebook, organizers asked people attending the 104th rodeo in Burwell to welcome the comedian to the community.

The rodeo begins on July 23 and goes until the 26th.  You can find a schedule of events and purchase tickets on the rodeo’s website.

Last year, former Husker volleyball coach John Cook served as the rodeo’s grand marshal.
