Man cited in crash that killed pedestrian in north Lincoln parking lot

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was cited Friday in a crash that killed a pedestrian in a north Lincoln parking lot earlier this year, police say.
Ahmed Al-Musa, 35, was cited and released on suspicion of tampering with physical evidence in the crash that happened on June 14.
Police said Al-Musa ran over 44-year-old Jeremy Charginghawk in a parking lot near North 27th and Theresa streets.
Al-Musa, who owns the business where the victim was found in the parking lot, moved his vehicle to the back of the store, according to LPD.
He then went and performed CPR on the victim.
Afterward, police said Al-Musa drove his vehicle to a home near Potter Street and North 22nd Court, about 1.5 miles from where the crash happened.
