Lincoln man arrested after firing revolver off apartment balcony, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was arrested early Sunday morning after police say he fired a gun off his apartment balcony.
Just before 3 a.m., officers with the Lincoln Police Department were sent to an apartment complex near 70th Street and Yankee Hill Road.
When officers arrived, they found the man walking out of the building.
According to LPD, he came down in the elevator, confronted officers and became uncooperative.
He was ultimately arrested and found with a black revolver and a box of ammunition.
Multiple shell casings were found in a trash can inside his apartment, according to the police department.
No one was hurt during the incident.
He was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on suspicion of discharging a firearm, refusing to comply and disturbing the peace.
