LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A woman who was running an unlicensed daycare inside her home in Eagle is accused of child abuse, according to court documents.

Robin Sinner, 39, was arrested Friday on suspicion of child abuse with no serious bodily injury, a Class 3A felony.  She appeared in Cass County Court on Tuesday morning.

The child abuse was reported to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office on Oct. 25, 2024.

A parent reported that their son was attending a daycare at Sinner’s home in Eagle, an arrest warrant affidavit alleges.

When the child was picked up from daycare that day, they had bruises and were taken to the ER at Bryan West, the affidavit says.

On Nov. 1, officials determined the bruising was “consistent with child abuse,” authorities said in the affidavit.

During an investigation, authorities learned that Sinner was running an unlicensed daycare at her home, according to the affidavit.  Sinner had been taking care of at least four children at the daycare.

An arrest warrant was issued on Friday and Sinner was taken into custody that same day.
