Warm through Friday, then much cooler
It will still be a warm end to the work week, but changes are right around the corner! Scattered storms will be possible on Friday, as well.
For Thursday, it will be dry, quiet, and warm. We start in the 60s and end up right around 90 degrees… each of those just a little above average.
Then on Friday, we get a chance for storms. This starts in western Nebraska earlier in the day, then makes its way east and should be in SE Nebraska by early evening.
Because of this threat for storms, the Storm Prediction Center has most of the state in a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe storms.
After the storms Friday, the cool air settles in and it wants to stick around for a while!
