Investigators determined that the victim was trying to get back into the bar after being kicked out.
He brushed against Silva, according to an arrest affidavit, in an interaction caught on video surveillance.
The affidavit says Silva drew his arm back and swung at the victim, hitting him in the left jaw and knocking him unconscious in a single blow.
An arrest warrant was issued for Silva on July 7.
His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 17.
