LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man has died after a two-vehicle crash in southeast Lincoln last week.

On Thursday, the Lincoln Police Department said 78-year-old Len Ostrowsky died from his injuries in a crash on Aug. 26.

After the crash, LPD said Ostrowsky was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries, but he later lost consciousness and was put on life support.

About 8:45 p.m. on Aug. 26, Ostrowsky was driving north on 70th Street, just south of Yankee Hill Road.

LPD said he was driving on the wrong side of the road and crashed into a southbound Tesla.

That caused Ostrowsky to spin off the road into a nearby ditch, according to the crash report.

At the scene, Ostrowsky said he was unsure what happened and did not see any headlights coming his way.

Ostrowsky was taken to Bryan West Medical Center due to cuts on his arms.

LPD said no citations will be given.
