11-year-old seriously injured when hit by vehicle in northwest Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A pedestrian was seriously injured Monday night in a crash in northwest Lincoln.
An 11-year-old was hit by a vehicle about 8 p.m. at First Street and West Dawes Avenue, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
An LPD crash report says that the 11-year-old stepped in front of the vehicle before being hit.
The child was taken to a hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening, police said.
LPD said the driver was cooperative.
The crash is under investigation.
