Lincoln Southwest takes down Lincoln East in five-set thriller
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Lincoln Southwest volleyball hung on to take down rival Lincoln East in five sets Wednesday evening.
Southwest won the first set on its home court 25-18.
The match went back-and-forth with the Spartans taking set two, the Silver Hawks set three, and East winning set four.
The Silver Hawks claimed the fifth and final set 15-6.
A big piece to the win was senior opposite hitter/defensive specialist Alivia Gustafson, who constantly put up big swings for the Green and Silver to help them stay undefeated in 2025.

Lincoln Southwest moves to 5-0 on the season. Lincoln East drops to 2-7 on the year.
