Warming back up
They average high for mid October is in the mid to upper 60s, but we won’t be anywhere close to that for the rest of the week. 80s are likely the next couple of days!
We start the day well above average, too. Lows will generally be in the 50s, but some of us may not fall out of the 60s, as well.
Highs will mainly be in the 70s and 80s. The record high for Lincoln on Wednesday is 91 degrees, so I think that record is safe.
After a warm end of the week, we cool off for the weekend and much of next week. After the storm chance Friday, the next precipitation chance will be on Tuesday.
Speaking of Friday, I’m keeping a close eye on the end of the week for a small chance at some severe storms. A cold front will be pushing through and we could see some strong storms as it moves through.
