Temperatures drop into the 50s over the next couple of hours, before we settle down in the lower 40s early on Saturday. Expect increasing cloud cover as we go through the overnight hours.

High temperatures across the state today were more than pleasant for early November. Many of us saw highs in the 60s, with our average this time of year in the middle 50s.

A few sprinkles are possible this evening as well as a few flurries possible for northeast Nebraska. Stormcast shows another round of showers and flurries later on Saturday, snow accumulations between 0.5 – 1.0″ possible.

Lows tonight will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s with lighter winds out of the west-northwest.

Lows tonight in the Capital City will fall to the lower 40s, which is close to 10 degrees above average for this time of year. Cloud cover is expected to increase overnight, with a sprinkle or two possible early on Saturday.

Temperatures will struggle to rebound during the day on Saturday for the start of a cooler weekend ahead. Highs tomorrow will be close to average in the lower to mid 50s.

Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies for Lincoln tomorrow with highs struggling to reach the lower 50s. A breezy start to the weekend as well with wind gusts up to 25 miles per hour possible.

Expect a chilly weekend continuing into the start of the work week, with overnight lows reaching the teens! Warmer temperatures quickly come to the rescue on Tuesday, returning us to the lower and middle 60s for the majority of next week.
