LINCOLN, Neb (KLKN) – Nebraska football took down UCLA on the road on Saturday night.

It was the first win for Big Red in Pasadena since 1993.

In his first collegiate start TJ Lateef was 13 for 15 for 205 yards and three touchdowns. His first score was a strike to Jacory Barney Jr.

Emmett Johnson had another massive night for Nebraska.

Johnson went for 232 total yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for 129 yards and grabbed 103 yards through the air.

Tonight’s game marks the first time in school history a Nebraska running back has had 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in the same game.

Johnson is also the only FBS player this season with 100 yards rushing and receiving in the same game.

With the win, Nebraska improves to 8-7 all-time against UCLA.

The win moves Nebraska to 7-3 on the season which is the NU’s best 10-game record since opening 8-2 in 2016.

Nebraska has a bye week before hitting the road again to face Penn State on Nov. 22 in coach Matt Rhule’s return to his alma mater.
