Nebraska women’s basketball powers past Purdue Fort Wayne in Emerald Coast Classic

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska women’s basketball team took care of business Monday, putting down Purdue Fort Wayne 80-57 at Raider Arena in the Emerald Coast Classic.
As a team, the Huskers shot 57% from the floor, while the Mastodons only shot 39% from the floor.
Britt Prince did it all for the Huskers, tallying 18 points on 8-for-14 shooting and dishing out a team-high seven assists.
Eliza Maupin scored 13 points on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting performance.
Amiah Hargrove and Logan Nissley each totaled 11 points for the Big Red. Hargrove also led the Huskers on the glass, grabbing six boards.
The Huskers are now 6-0 on the season, and will play in the Emerald Coast Classic championship game on Tuesday.
