President Donald Trump endorses Gov. Jim Pillen for re-election

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday endorsed Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen for re-election.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said Pillen is doing an incredible job for the Cornhusker State.

“Jim Pillen is a friend, fighter, and WINNER, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election — HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!” Trump said.

On Monday, Lynne Walz announced she was considering running against Pillen in the next election.

The next general election in Nebraska is set for November 2026.
