A cold Saturday headed our way
Friday was a windy day. 60 and 70 mph wind gusts were seen in parts of central and western Nebraska!
The wind will start to diminish on Saturday. It will still be windy, just not as windy as Friday was.
It is going to be a chilly start to the weekend. Highs will struggle mightily.
Because of the cold temperatures and brisk winds, the wind chill may not get above zero in some spots.
We may see a little light snow blow through again late Saturday into early Sunday. Accumulating snow is not likely.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential.
Overnight lows will be cold the next several days, but afternoon highs will be a little warmer. Especially Sunday, then again Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
