LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The No. 12-ranked Nebraska basketball team used a late run to beat Maryland on Wednesday night, beating the Terrapins 74-61 at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

It was a back-and-forth game for most of the contest before the Huskers used a 22-8 run in the final 8 minutes to solidify the win.

As a team, the Huskers shot 43% from the floor and 34% from beyond the arc, while Maryland shot 38$ from the floor and 33% from deep.

Braden Frager led Nebraska in scoring, racking up 21 points on 6-of-13 shooting. He also pulled in a team-high eight rebounds.

Pryce Sandfort tallied 16 points with three 3-pointers, reaching 100 3-pointers made this season.

Rienk Mast racked up 13 points, while Sam Hoiberg scored 12. Jamarques Lawrence dished out a team-high six assists.

The Huskers will head west for their next two games, including a matchup with USC on Saturday.

Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. on the Big Ten Network.
