Nebraska basketball falls in final AP Poll of the regular season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Nebraska men’s basketball team fell in the final AP Poll of the regular season on Monday.

The Huskers are now ranked No. 11 in the country after being ranked No. 9 last week.

The fall follows a road loss to UCLA on Tuesday night and an overtime win over Iowa on Sunday.

With Nebraska’s fall, there are now three Big Ten teams in the top 10: No. 3 Michigan and No. 8 Michigan State stayed put, while No. 9 Illinois moved up two spots.

The full top 10 is as follows:

  2. Arizona
  3. Michigan
  4. Florida
  5. Houston
  6. UConn
  7. Iowa State
  8. Michigan State
  9. Illinois
  10. Virginia

Nebraska will hit the floor in the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten Tournament on Friday.
