One hospitalized after car flips over in east Lincoln crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — One person was hospitalized on Wednesday night after a car flipped over in east Lincoln.

Just after 6:45 p.m., several first responders were sent to the intersection of 84th Street and Hazelwood Drive.

According to Lincoln Police Department Sgt. Jay Denzin, there were three cars involved in the crash.

Witnesses told police that one of the cars was driving erratically down 84th Street for about a mile.

LPD said that the car then crashed into another car at the stoplight near 84th and Hazelwood, flipped over, and then hit a second car.

The driver was pinned in the car and had to be rescued by first responders. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

LPD said the crash is still under investigation.
