Lincoln Police find missing 11-year-old girl

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — UPDATE (7 p.m.): 11-year-old Alazay Mata was found safely.

“She’s been located safely,” LPD said in an update.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE: The Lincoln Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding 11-year-old Alazay Mata.

She was last seen around 3 p.m. on Friday, headed in an unknown direction from NW 6th Street and Oregon Trail.

She is 4-foot-7, 60 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

LPD said she was last seen wearing a pink bonnet, all-grey clothing, and grey shoes.
