The 6-foot-5 redshirt junior averaged 12.9 points, 5.4 assists and 2.1 steals per game. He also ranked 23rd nationally with 6.0 assists per game.
He helped lead Utah Valley to a 25-9 record while earning All-Western Athletic Conference first team and defensive team honors.
The Kaysville, Utah, native currently ranks 70th in the 2026 On3 transfer portal rankings.
Nebraska also added Montana transfer forward Kadyn Betts, according to his Instagram.
The 6-foot-8 senior spent last season at Montana, but his season was cut short at nine games due to an ankle injury.
In those nine games off the bench, Betts averaged 3.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in only 60 minutes of total action.
He also shot 56.3% from the field and 62.5% from beyond the 3-point line. The Huskers offered Betts out of high school in 2022.
Both Leonhardt and Betts will join Sam Orme in Hoiberg’s transfer class.
