A Hot Tuesday Before Changes Arrive
A HOT & sunny day across Nebraska! Winds will stay less than 10 mph! Highs will reach the 80s & 90s with a light east breeze 5-10 mph. Breezier winds farther west.
Wednesday evening, a few isolated storms will develop out west. LARGE HAIL, DAMAGING WINDS & an isolated tornado will be the threats.
A level 2 SLIGHT risk is in place for all of eastern Nebraska. The hatched marks indicate that the main threats will be large hail & damaging winds.
Tuesday brings less wind but hotter temperatures. Wednesday will be a windy one with storm chances out west near 3-9pm. Thursday will be mostly/partly sunny & warm. This means more time for the atmosphere to destabilize for rain/storm chances by 2pm ahead of the cold front. Saturday looks dry for much of the morning, before increasing rain/storm chances Saturday afternoon & especially Sunday afternoon. Next week looks cooler than average with small precipitation chances late week.
