Chilly mornings ahead
Cold temperatures are headed our way the next few mornings with afternoon highs a little below average. A cool end to the month of April.
Temperatures early Wednesday morning (above) will be very close to the freezing mark for much of the state.
Because of the cold air, we have Frost Advisories in place for parts of central and eastern Nebraska. Western Nebraska will be cold enough for frost, as well, but that’s normal for this time of year so no advisory is needed.
Much of eastern Nebraska at that time of year where we start to see the freezing temperatures wrapping up!
We’ll see highs on Wednesday a little below average, but still in the 60s for highs.
Thursday will be very similar to Wednesday, as well. The chance for precipitation is small on Thursday, but we may see a few spot showers.
The next chance for rain after Thursday will be early next week. We warm up as we head into the first weekend of May, too!
