A Warm & breezy day across Nebraska! NW winds 10-15 mph with gusts up to 25+ mph. State highs reaching the upper 60s, 70s & 80s under sunny skies! Isolated/scattered showers & T-storms will be possible across SE & SW Nebraska near 4-7pm ahead of a cold front. Light rain will follow into the overnight hours, especially farther SW.
High temperatures will range from the 60s to the 80s this afternoon. Cooler temperatures farther NW where a cold front will move through by mid morning. Warmer temperatures across SE Nebraska, due to the front timing being later.
Isolated/scattered T-storms will be possible across SE Nebraska near 4-8pm ahead of a cold front. Light rain will follow into the overnight hours, especially farther SW.
Monday-Wednesday morning: A few isolated T-storms Monday evening in far SE Nebraska with rain showers out west. Tuesday, have an umbrella and jacket handy all day. Light rain will be on/off through the day with the bulk of the precipitation falling in SW Nebraska. Lingering light rain through Wednesday morning farther SW.
Rain chances through Wednesday morning appear higher to the southwest. A stalled front lingering along I-80 will keep deeper moisture focused farther west.
A warm and breezy Monday, with isolated rain/storm chances near 4-8pm. Tuesday will be much cooler and cloudy. Light rain will be on/off through Tuesday with the better chance of rain farther SW. Wednesday stays cloudy and chilly with rain presisting in SW Nebraska. Clouds lift & temperatures warm up Thursday & Friday. Saturday afternoon and evening, some rain/storm chances move west to east. Next week looks to be above average with periodic rain chances.
