Cloudy & Chilly Through Wednesday
A rainy/drizzly and cool day across Nebraska! Light drizzle farther east through 1:00PM with BENEFICIAL rain out west! Another band of light rain will occur from 6pm-midnight along I-80. Winds will stay on the lighter side under mostly cloudy skies.
11am-3pm: Eastern Nebraska will likely see light drizzle/rain through midday, before diminishing. Meanwhile farther west & SW, decent rain will be falling for much of the day.
6pm-midnight: A band of light rain will try and spread along I-80 this evening. This rain will have to overcome low level dryness. Rain totals near a few hundredths across much of eastern Nebraska.
Rain potential through Wednesday afternoon stay higher to the southwest. A stalled front lingering along I-80 will keep deeper moisture focused farther west.
A well BELOW AVERAGE afternoon! High temperatures only reaching the 40s, 50s and 60s under cloudy skies.
Today will be much cooler and cloudy. Light rain will be on/off through tonight with the better chance of moderate rain farther SW. Wednesday stays cloudy and chilly with rain persisting south of I-80 through the AM. Clouds lift & temperatures warm up Thursday & Friday. Saturday afternoon and evening, some rain/storm chances move west to east. Next week looks to be above average with periodic rain chances by late week.
