Last Cool Day Before Nice Warmup
One last chilly day across Nebraska! NW winds 5-10 mph with gusts near 20 mph. State highs only reaching the 50s & 60s under mostly to partly sunny skies! The most sunshine will occur farther north and NW.
High temperatures will be just like Wednesday! McCook will actually be one of the cooler spots due to morning rain and low cloud cover.
Thursday morning will be another cold one! Clear skies will lead to 20s and 30s for all of Nebraska, before quickly warming up by Thursday afternoon.
Thursday: 5-8pm: Scattered showers & isolated T-storms move SE from the sandhills. Some lightning and pea size size hail will likely occur within the strongest cores.
10pm-4am: Light rain moves east along I-80 with precipitation ending by 5am. Rain totals will be less than 0.10″ for all who receive rain.
Rain potential through Friday will be very spotty and light. Most spot seeing less than a tenth of inch.
Wednesday stays chilly and mostly/partly sunny. Clouds lift & temperatures warm up Thursday & Friday. Saturday afternoon and evening, some rain/storm chances move west to east. Mother’s Day looks fantastic! Next week looks to be above average with periodic rain chances by late week.
