Warming Trend Begins Today
A warm & WINDY day across Nebraska! SW winds 10-15 mph with gusts near 30 mph. State highs reaching the 60s & 70s under sunny skies! Scattered rain/storms stay farther west this evening.
3-9pm: Showers & T-storms will occur out west. Some storms could have some strong wind gusts due to outflow. Limited accumulations are expected.
Mother’s Day weekend will be pleasant overall. Friday will stay warm, dry & windy. Saturday brings isolated showers and T-storms in the afternoon. Main precipitation looks to stay near the NE/KS border. Sunday will be FANTASTIC!! Sunny skies, comfortable temperatures and light winds.
Light precipitation chances with warm temperatures through this weekend. Monday & Tuesday, temperatures really start to rise to near 90 degrees. A brief cold front moves through late next week bringing small rain chances. Keeping an eye on the 3rd week of May for increasing storm chances!
