There is a chance for severe storms Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Hopefully we see some much need rain out of it, too.

There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” and a level 2 “Slight Risk” for severe storms Friday evening.
Large hail will be a main concern. 1″ to 2″ hail will be possible with storms that can form.
Damaging wind in excess of 60 mph will be possible, as well. Especially in the yellow shaded area.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms.
Just about the entire state has a chance for severe storms on Saturday. The afternoon and evening will have the better chance for the severe storms which will move from west to east.
Sunday has another chance for severe storms, but timing hasn’t been determined yet.
Monday has yet another chance for severe storms. Timing still being figured out with that, as well. It will depend on how all the other storm chances play out.
A decent amount of rain is possible for some of us, so maybe a little good news out of all this severe weather!
It is going to be VERY warm on Friday. Record highs in eastern Nebraska are possible.
