FORECAST:

2-4PM: Isolated SEVERE storms will develop near York ->east. VERY LARGE HAIL up to baseballs will be within these storms.

Watching places like Beatrice, Barneston, Pawnee City, Falls City & east for an isolated strong TORNADO.

4-5pm: The LARGE HAIL & TORNADO threat PEAK across SE Nebraska.

5-7PM: Storms will continue as a hail threat south of I-80 in SE Nebraska. Storms will weaken after 9pm. Stay tuned for the latest through this afternoon,

VERY Large hail up to baseballs or greater will be possible with these isolated storms Monday afternoon.

A few STRONG TORNADOES EF-2+ will be possible across SE Nebraska. I’m watching places like Beatrice, Barneston, Pawnee City, Falls City & east for an isolated strong TORNADO.

Damaging winds up to 70-80+ mph will be possible as storms form a line by 7-9pm.

Another great chance for heavy rainfall through Monday night across SE Nebraska. An additional 1-2″ of rain will be possible within these storms. Localized flooding will be a concern through Tuesday morning.

High temperatures Monday afternoon will have quite the difference! Highs in the 40s farther west and highs in the 70s across SE Nebraska.

Warm and stormy across SE Nebraska Monday. The first half of this week brings cooler air with partly sunny skies. Thursday into Friday, a warm up begins and this will bring some small rain/storm chances. A partly sunny and warm weekend with on/ off rain chances. Back to the 80s and 90s next week!
