THURS: Light rain from the Tri-cities and south. By noon -4pm, rain will continue with some LIGHT RAIN in & around Lincoln by 5-8pm.
FRI: Expect RAIN Friday morning across SE & eastern Nebraska. Rain will lessen near 1pm Friday. A few isolated T-STORMS could develop from 3-6pm near Fairbury & Beatrice. Some small hail & gusty winds could possibly occur within the storms.
SAT: Some morning rain showers across eastern Nebraska. Saturday night brings the better chance for rain/storms as a severe system moves W->E.
Sunday -beyond: Rain/storm chances look to occur in the timeframe of 3pm-late night hours. Stay tuned for updates!

A storm system will develop out west Saturday afternoon. Large hail & a few brief tornadoes will be possible. By Saturday evening and night, storms move east making a DAMAGING WIND threat. Storms will lose strength the farther east they move, meaning strong winds will be the main concern Saturday night.

5-10pm: Saturday evening, storms develop out west carrying a hail, tornado & wind threat. Storms go linear as they track east. The tail end of the line of storms has the BEST potential for a few brief tornadoes. Keeping an eye on SW Nebraska Saturday night.

Thursday brings spotty rain/storm chances along and south of I-80. Friday brings rain/storm chances in the morning & late afternoon hours across eastern, NE. Saturday-Sunday, we could see some MARGINAL severe weather across the state, as a potent system from the west will bring several chances for rain/storms through May 31. The 1st week of June looks hot and wet.
