Storm chances Friday through the weekend
Scattered showers and storms are possible Friday, through the weekend, and into early next week. It won’t rain the entire time, but waves of showers and storms will be possible each day. Temperatures will be a little cooler because of the added cloud cover, but we warm up next week.
Most of the rain on Friday will fall the first part of the day, but lingering showers and spot storms will be possible the second half of the day. By Friday night, over a half inch of rain will be possible.
Temperatures on Friday will be a little cooler, but with the added humidity, it’ll still feel very mild.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storms.
We certainly need the moisture. The latest Drought Monitor still have most of the state in a Severe to Exceptional Drought.
We have several storm chances through the first half of next week, but we warm back into the 80s for highs by Sunday.
