Three Lincoln streets set to close the week of June 15

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department announced the closure of three Lincoln streets starting on Monday.

On Monday, the southbound lane of 56th Street from Vavak Place to Elkcrest Drive will be closed for utility work. The lane is expected to open on Tuesday.

Starting Wednesday, 48th Street between Adams Street and Cornhusker Highway will close for pavement repairs.

LTU said the street will reopen on July 1.

On June 20, 22nd Street between U and T streets will close from noon to 4 p.m. for an event.
