Severe Storms Near Lake McConaughy Leads to Destruction
KEITH COUNTY, Neb. (KLKN) – Tipped campers and falling ceilings follow the intense storm at Lake McConaughy near Ogallala. Two campers were blown over with one in the lake.
Officials say eight people were evaluated by medical professionals but were released on the scene. They also urged caution along the shoreline between areas 5 and 12.

Many responders arrived on the scene when the campers tipped including Keith County Emergency Medical Services, Keystone Lemoyne Volunteer Fire Department and Ogallala Volunteer Fire Department.
